Omar Assefi is a senior intelligence leader who has supported national security, counterterrorism, and critical infrastructure missions across the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the broader Intelligence Community. He brings deep regional expertise on Middle Eastern threat environments and transnational networks, combined with a strong background in cyber.
Mr. Assefi has held senior intelligence roles with leading firms including Deloitte, Leidos, Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton, Raytheon, SAIC, Noblis, and Six3 Systems, supporting high-priority government missions across homeland security, aviation, counterterrorism, and defense environments. His work has included the production of written assessments, executive briefings, and operational intelligence products for senior stakeholders addressing cyber threats, foreign influence risks, and vulnerabilities affecting critical infrastructure.
Mr. Assefi also supported the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Foreign Terrorist Tracking Task Force. Earlier, at Lockheed Martin, Mr. Assefi supported U.S. Central Command and the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization, where he provided regional analysis on local security dynamics across Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan, delivering intelligence support to U.S. and coalition leadership.
Fluent in Farsi and Dari, with additional knowledge of Urdu and Hindi, Mr. Assefi brings both linguistic depth and regional understanding to complex analytical environments. Mr. Assefi has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from George Mason University and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Montgomery College.
